An archived animal never counts against your cap. A rehabilitation centre with four hundred intakes a year and thirty patients today is a thirty-animal facility.
Every new organization gets thirty days with Pro features and trial-sized storage. If the trial lapses and nothing is chosen, the organization goes read-only: new capture stops, and everything already recorded stays available.
Commitments
Add everyone who works with your animals - staff, volunteers, students, the vet who visits on Thursdays. The price is the same. Nobody has to share a login to save money, which matters because a shared login means nobody knows who wrote what.
A sanctuary's happy ending is lifetime care and a rehabilitation centre's is release. Charging per adoption would bill you for an event that many of the facilities ARK is for never have.
If you downgrade, or your trial ends, or your card fails, you stop being able to add new entries. You can still read, search, print and download every record you have ever written. Work you already did does not get held hostage.
Downloading your animals and your logs as a spreadsheet is on every plan, including the cheapest. So is bringing your records in from wherever they are now.
One price per plan. No line items to reconcile, and nothing you assumed was included turning up as an extra at renewal.
Your records
Your records belong to your organization and stop there. Nobody at another facility can see them, search them or come across them by accident.
Every entry and every change carries a name and a time. If a weight looks wrong six months later, you can see who recorded it, when, and what it said before somebody edited it.
A record someone removes can still be accounted for. If an inspector asks what happened to an animal you had last year, the answer is there.
A photo is part of the entry it was taken for, not a separate gallery you have to keep in step. You will not end up with a note describing a wound and no picture of it.
Download every animal and every log you have written, as a spreadsheet, whenever you want. That keeps working if your trial ends or you move to a cheaper plan. If you ever leave ARK, you leave with your records.
